  The Office of Innovation and Development: develops, writes, coordinates, and manages the proposal process for grants submitted by Saint Paul Public Schools.

Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation Grants
The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation donates new and refurbished musical instruments to under served schools, community music programs and individual students nationwide, in an effort to give youngsters the many benefits of music education, help them to be better students and inspire creativity and expression through playing music.

State Grants
The state of Minnesota often makes federal funding available in the form of block grants.  Click on the links below to connect to education grant resources provided through the State of Minnesota.

Federal Grants
Federal grants provide the greatest percent of grant dollars to the Saint Paul Public Schools.

Foundation Grants
Private foundations are a generous source of funding for SPPS.  If you'd like to apply to a foundation for support, please contact the office of fund development before beginning as the vast majority of funders request that we provide one point of contact when soliciting grants and sponsorships.

Celebrating Communities of Color grant
The General Mills Foundation grants program awards fifty, $10,000 grants to nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities county metro area serving communities of color.
